2.56 lakh crore Investment in Agriculture & Allied Sector during 2014-15

NEW DELHI: Total investment both in  Public and Private sectors  in terms of Gross Capital Formation(GCF)  in agriculture and allied sector (at 2011-12 prices)  during 2014-15 is 256495 crore . The Central Statistics Office(CSO), Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation (MOSPI) released this data on 29.01.2016

The subjects included in agriculture and allied sector are crop (including horticulture), livestock, forestry & logging and fishery & aquaculture.

Sub-sector-wise estimates of investment in terms of Gross Capital Formation(GCF) in agriculture and allied sector (at 2011-12 prices)  during 2014-15  are 211861 crore in horticulture, 25868 crore in livestock, 2338 crore in forestry & logging and 16429 crore in fishery & Aquaculture.
