Dhanuka trust rejuvenates lifeless pond near Vrindavan under its water conservation initiatives

Develops it into a recreational zone  for visitors

New Delhi: Dhanuka trust, has revived a lifeless pond in village Barauli Chouth near Vrindavan as part of its water conservation initiatives. The trust has converted the pond and its adjoining area into a scenic recreational place for visitors to enjoy. Dhanuka further plans to plant more trees in the area, which is known for its cultural and spiritual heritage. The pond called ‘Shyam Dhak Teerth’ will be inaugurated on 8th September.

Dhanuka Agritech, through various partners has been involved in water conservation activities from more than a decade now. It is spreading awareness about water conservation through its flagship campaign “Khet ka pani khet mein, aur gaon ka pani gaon mein”. The company has built 06 dams and planted 20000 trees in various parts of country. Every year on World Water Day, Dhanuka organizes various activities across India to promote water conservation practices in people’s daily life.
