For the seventh time CIFT received Rajarshi Tandon award

NEW DELHI: Central Institute of Fisheries Technology(CIFT), Cochin received the ‘Rajarshi Tandon Rajbhasha Puraskara’ for the year 2014-15.This is the seventh time CIFT was receiving this Rajarshi Tandon award. CIFT received this award for best Official Language Implementation among the ICAR Institutions in the Region ‘C’.

This award was received by Dr. C.N. Ravishankar,director CIFT, Dr. Santhosh Alex and Dr.P.Shankar, senior technical officers,CIFT.

They received this award  from Purushottam Rupala,Union Minister for State Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare and Panchayati Raj and Sudarshan Bhagat, Union Minister for State Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare during the ICAR Foundation day celebrations held at Vigyan Bhawan, New delhi on Saturday

On this occassion Dr. Trilochan Mahapatra, Secretary, DARE and DG, ICAR was also present.
