India-Israel to strengthen agriculture co-operation
NEW DELHI: Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Radha Mohan Singh, concluding his three days visit to Israel Tuesday, expressed hope that India-Israel would deepen agriculture cooperation in the field of research and technology.
During his visit, he had visited Israel’s premier Agriculture Research Organization and observed the advanced technologies in starting from pre-harvesting, post-harvesting to processing. Singh had visited many places of desert agriculture and aquaculture.
The union minister also interacted with a group of Indian students who were there for their studies and research activities.
He also interacted with the Agriculture Minister of Israel, Uri Ariel about the possibilities of cooperation in the field of animal sciences, especially in dairy sector.
