Kharif sowing acreage comes down
New Delhi: The total area sown under Kharif crop has witnessed a decline from 128.35 lakh hectares ,last year to 115.90 lakh hectare, as recorded on 22nd of june 2018,.
The area of rice sown has fallen from 11.17 ha last year to 10.67 ha this year. Area for pulses is recorded to be 5.91 ha this year as compared to 7.82 ha last year.
