
NaanDanJain Mexico bags US $24 million order in Honduras
Jalgaon:- NaanDanJain Mexico, a multi generation subsidiary company of Jain Irrigation system Ltd. has received a big order for 2 projects in Honduras. Agriculture Ministry of Honduras has given this order for projects worth US$23.77 million.
These two projects envisage piped conveyance of irrigation water to the fields of farmers in the command area of two reservoirs. The Company will design, supply, install and commission these plastic pipe networks during the next 2 1/2 years. Agriculture Ministry of Honduras has given this order for 2 projects to NaanDanJain’s Mexican subsidiary company. These projects will serve as models for similar projects in the Central America region and are in line with the concept of “Resource to Root” which is being pioneered by and promoted by Jain Irrigation in India and elsewhere. Company has commissioned similar projects from the design stage in India and abroad.
NaanDanJain Israel’s CEO M. Sudhakar said,” We are very happy to receive this contract which will enable us to deepen our already strong presence in Central and Latin America. We plan to build our strengths to do such projects around the world.”
