Odisha participates in ‘Annapoorna – World of Food India 2016’
Mumbai: Odisha government has participated in the three days food festival ‘Annapoorna – World of Food India 2016’ at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai starting from 22 September 16.
Odisha agriculture, MSME and Industry departments had participated in the event and showcased their potential in food and beverages sectors.
OIPEO, the Odisha government’s office in New Delhi, was coordinating with the state government departments and was arranging B2B meetings for the state participants at the event, thereby seeking opportunities for investment in the state.
All 116 companies from 18 countries had taken part in the mega event which was organized by Koelnmesse YA Trade Fair Pvt. Ltd. and Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
Union Minister of Food Processing Industries, Harsimrat Kaur Badal, had inaugurated the two days food festival.
The event showcased the complete spectrum of food and beverage industry, food and beverage trade, catering and retail market.
