PAU holds career development programme for school children

Ludhiana: The Skill Development Centre, Directorate of Extension Education, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), organized a “Vocational and Career Development Programme” for school going children today. About 300 school going children attended the programme.

 

           Dr T.S. Riar, Associate Director, Skill Development, while welcoming the students, gave a brief introduction of the programme.

 

            Dr Rupinder Kaur, Professor of Extension Education, informed about skill oriented training courses for youth for career development.

 

            Experts from all the four constituent colleges of PAU and Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU) delivered their lectures on vocational and career development programmes related to agriculture, agricultural engineering, home science, basic sciences and humanities, and veterinary science.
