PAU student attends meet in USA

Ludhiana: Ms Manmeet Kaur, Ph.D. scholar of the Department of Chemistry, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), attended the American Chemical Society Spring Meeting and Exposition at Orlando, Florida, USA, from March 31 to April 4, 2019. She also delivered a talk on “Nanofabrication of N-doped graphene oxide with magnesium ferrite for effective Pb(II) and As(III) sequestration and photocatalytic applications: A comparative study.” This work was a part of her Ph.D. research conducted under the supervision of Dr (Mrs) Manpreet Kaur, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, in collaboration with Dr Virender K. Sharma, Professor-cum-Director, Program on Environment and Sustainability, Department of Environmental and Occupational Health, School of Public Health, Texas A &M University, USA.
