Radha Mohan Singh Greets People on Onam

NEW DELHI: Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Radha Mohan Singh, in a twitter message, has greeted to the people of the country on Onam.

People in Kerala celebrate this festival as part their annual tradition. The festival is attributed to the homecoming of mythical king Mahabali under whose reign Kerala witnessed its golden period.

“I greet all the people of the country on the occasion of Onam”, twitted Singh.

President Pranab Mukherjee, Vice President Mohhamad Hamid Ansari and Prime Minister Narendra Modi also greeted people on this occasion.
