Radha Mohan Singh Launches e-NAM Mobile App ​

New Delhi: Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Radha Mohan Singh has launched a mobile application for farmers, namely e-NAM in New Delhi on Thursday.

He also announced successfully completion of e-NAM in its first phase and around 250 markets connected to e-NAM across 10 states. Most of the implementation issues faced in pilot phase have been addressed.

The new version of the e-NAM software will be release in future as per requirements. The issues of the hardware and software of e-NAM during the implementation process of the project have been resolved.

The Minister of State of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Purushottam Rupala was also present on this occasion.

Singh appealed to those states where APMC act does not exist and require complete or partial changes, to join the e-NAM scheme and farmers will get benefit by the way of enhance income through this scheme.

E-NAM will bring forth more profit to farmers, availability of trader at lesser cost to the buyers and development of permanent markets. This app will be profitable for farmers to have access to the national market having wide choice.
