Sugar Remains Quiet in Thin Trade
New Delhi, Oct 14: Quiet conditions persisted at the wholesale sugar market in the national capital today as prices
continued to move in a narrow range in scattered deals and settled around previous levels. Marketmen said ample stocks position against sporadic demand mainly kept sugar prices unaltered.
Following are today’s quotations (in Rs per quintal) Sugar retail markets – Rs 39.00-43.00 per kg. Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 3,950-4,100, S-30 Rs 3,940-4,090. Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 3,615-3,825, S-30 Rs 3,605-3,805.
