Switch to Organic Farming, Says Experts

Patiala: Experts from various fields related to agriculture have said that taking up organic farming is the only way for farmers of Punjab is the way out for protecting soil fertility and a bright future of the state.

The experts were speaking at the ‘Innovative Farmers’ Meet’ organized in Patiala by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)  in association with the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India.

CII organised a session on “Sustainable agriculture through organic farming’ as part of the Innovative Farmers’ Meet here.
Over 1,000 farmers visited the various stalls of farm products that were on display at the meet-cum-exhibition.
