Union Agriculture Minister urges to develop climate resilient technology
PATNA: Union of Minister Agriculture and Farmers Radha Mohan Singh Monday urged scientists to develop the climate smart technologies.
Addressing a meeting of scientists at Indian Council Of Agricultural Research (ICAR ) regional office here, he emphasised upon his government’s focus on Second Green Revolution.
During meeting he also said that eastern regions have potential to attain higher production of milk, meat, pulses and oilseeds.
Dr. Jeet Sighn Sindhu, Deputy General Director, Crop Science at IACA who was present on this occasion said, “Importance should be given to all enterprises of agriculture, including horticulture, fisheries, livestock, poultry, etc. to bring second green revolution. And rest of the attention must be given on seed variety and mechanization.”
Dr. B.P Bhatt, Director of ICAR, Patna regional office stressed on discussing on various policies, development, researchable and other issues of agriculture development for effective implementation of programs.
