IARI issues advisory to NCR farmers to meet drought
NEW DELHI: Keeping in mind the deficit of rainfall in North West region, the Indian Agriculture Research Institute (IARI) has issued advisory to the farmers of National capital Region (NCR).
The premier agriculture institute has advised the NCR farmers t sow crops that need less water.
It may be noted that the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted 12 per cent deficit of rainfall in the North West region this season.
Thus, to avoid loss of crops, IARI be has started monthly advisories to create awareness among farmers and be prepared for the challenges.
